National cycle Route 6, one of Britain's longest cycle routes, NCN 6 runs all the way from London to the Lake District, via the East Midlands and Manchester.

There is a sign at the entrance saying "private road", but it seems to be part of the National Cycle Network 6, and no problem riding to pass through.

Watch out with your pedals, as the two big rocks are very close together.

The bridge was the original approach to Clumber Park prior to the development of the famous lime tree avenue. It dates from the 18th Century and crosses an ornamental lake that was created by the damming of the River Poulter.

Clumber Lake is a large, man-made lake within Clumber Park, a National Trust property in Nottinghamshire, England. It was created by damming the River Poulter in 1774.

On the last bit of the trail from Clumber across to the Tunnel Hiuse at Welbeck. At the bottom of the downhill canyon it very often gets a lot of loose sand (washed down by rainfall) and the nettles grow really high in summer so please be aware and be careful 👍

This is a lovely section of the Robin Hood way from Creswell Crags to Clumber Park. It crosses betwen Gouldsmeadow and Shrubbery Lake and offers plenty of scenery including lakes, meadows and tree lined avenues.

Take care if descending down the hill under the bridge, the rock gap is very narrow to negotiate

Welbeck Holloway, an historic thoroughfare through red sanstone, eroded by hooves & the steel rims of cartwheels. Fast & Fun downhill section along Drinking Pit Lane towards Welbeck Abbey, through the alluring canyon which becomes carpeted in brown leaves durng Autumn.
