The gravel path through Østmarka Forest is part of National Cycle Route 7, giving you a peaceful green corridor just outside Oslo. It’s well-maintained and gently undulating, making for easy riding.

I don't know who suggested this stretch... komoot or did I choose it that way? If you want to travel here with your bike and luggage, you should have tires with good grip and steel calves for the 12% incline on the gravel path. Otherwise there is only sliding. Unfortunately I didn't have the air for a photo. 😁

A copy of the stone bridge that used to stand here was built where the Fredrikshaldske Kongevei crosses the Dalsbekken. At the bridge there is a rest area with an information board.
