The ruins of the medieval cathedral. Construction probably began around 1152/53. It was completed in the early 14th century. It is 50 meters high and 56 meters long and was for a long time the most important place of pilgrimage between Oslo and Trondheim, but lost its importance from 1537 in the course of the Reformation. The glass building to preserve the ruins was built in 1998.
