During WWII, this site was the site of the airfield, occupied by German troops from 1941 to 1944, from where Typhoons took off to fight for our freedom. Now a memorial.

B67 info trail 'Bygone Past' In the southern part of the Drongengoed Landscape Park you will discover the info trail 'Bygone Past'. 11 information boards tell you the story of the Ursel W.O. II airfield with the allied code name B67. During the Liberation in 1944-1945, four squadrons of Hawker Typhoons of the British Royal Airforce (RAF) operated here. The return cry of the pilots who landed again at B67 was 'Tally Ho!' Pilot Rafke takes you on a journey along this fascinating piece of war heritage.
