The tunnel is currently closed due to a rock fall. https://www.bruneck.com/en/activities/bike/cycling The site is showing a pop up after opening - also with a detour map.

The name Kronplatz is borrowed from the Ladin toponym Plan de Corones. In the Fanes legend, Kronplatz is the place where Dolasilla, the invulnerable princess of the Fanes kingdom, was crowned.

...great trail – it has everything (good flow, switchbacks, jumps, roots, cross-country with postcard-perfect panoramas). However, I think the overall length and technicality of the trail make it a bit too challenging for beginners (who don't do alpine climbing every day).

a cycle path with almost no inclines. Great for covering distance! Great connection from Hotel Windschar (Gais) to Sand to go to a pizzeria or iced coffee shop.
