In the singular territory towards which the two great rivers of Italy converge, the Adige and the Po, to delineate it and push it towards the sea with its Delta, flows a third waterway, albeit secondary, of particular importance in the history of Polesine: a sort of middle river, called Canalbianco. It starts from the Mantua territory from the Ostiglia marshes, through the province of Verona and then arrives in the province of Rovigo.
