마사 마리티마에서 약 10km 떨어진 곳에 자연, 환경, 역사, 고고학적으로 매우 흥미로운 아체사 호수가 있습니다. 그곳의 매혹적인 분위기는 수많은 전설을 낳았습니다. 카르스트 지형에서 유래한 이 호수는 깊이가 약 38미터이며 유일한 배수구인 브루나 강으로 흘러 들어갑니다. 수영이 가능할 뿐만 아니라, 갈대, 골풀, 포플러, 유칼립투스 나무와 같은 전형적인 식생과 지중해성 관목림 덕분에 여름철에는 시원함을 선사합니다. 또한 강둑과 주변 지역을 따라 즐거운 산책을 하기에 좋습니다. 수정처럼 맑은 물에는 송어, 강꼬치고기, 잉어, 농어 등 다양한 어종이 서식하며, 풍부한 물새들도 찾아볼 수 있습니다. 아체사 지역은 고고학적으로도 매우 중요합니다. 호수 근처 마키아 델 몬테 지역에서는 1930년대부터 발굴 작업이 이루어졌고, 1980년대에 다시 재개되어 기원전 9세기에서 6세기로 거슬러 올라가는 4개의 에트루리아 마을 유적이 발굴되었습니다. 각 마을의 건물 기초만 볼 수 있으며, 넓은 지역에 걸쳐 흩어져 있는 그룹으로 모여 있습니다. 이러한 마을들은 구리 채굴, 특히 페니체 카판네와 세라보티니 광산에서 나오는 구리 채굴과 관련이 있었을 것으로 추정됩니다. 또한 이 채굴 마을들은 원자재를 공급했던 베툴로니아라는 큰 중심지에 종속된 채굴 전초기지였을 것으로 생각됩니다. 주거 및 채굴 활동을 위한 단지 외에도, 구덩이식, 도랑식, 원형, 방형 등 다양한 형태의 많은 무덤도 발견되었습니다.

Near Massa Marittima, we find Lago dell'Accesa, of great naturalistic, environmental, and historical-archaeological interest, so much so that its evocative atmosphere has given rise to numerous legends.
