Starting from Florence, the climb presents few difficulties and is pleasant. Giotto's Campanile is the bell tower of the church of Santa Maria del Fiore, the cathedral of Florence, located in Piazza del Duomo. Magnificent but very very busy. Do not hesitate to go and get ice creams and refreshments a little further in the quieter alleys.
