The Conca Trail passes by there; the dam forms a lake that's a bird sanctuary. Incidentally, the Conca Trail runs through a nature reserve that runs from Misano Porto Verde, on the border with Cattolica, to Morciano and back again, meaning you can walk along either the right or left bank of the river (Conca). It's recommended for hiking, jogging, or biking.

Montefiore Conca is a charming medieval village located in the province of Rimini, in Emilia-Romagna. It is known for its well-preserved castle, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding valley. Some points of interest include: 1. Malatesta Castle - An imposing fortress built in the 14th century, with towers and walls that tell the story of the area. 2. Historic Center - Characterized by cobblestone streets, historic buildings, and picturesque squares. 3. Church of San Paolo - A place of worship featuring significant works of art. 4. Events and Festivals - Montefiore Conca hosts cultural events and traditional festivals, making it a lively place to visit. It's a great place for walks, historical explorations, and to savor local cuisine at the on-site restaurant.

Magical place among ruins and abandoned churches

I went out days after the rain, up there the water was still flowing along the path and the mud was wasted, but I also passed through there with the dry and compact ground, certainly a beautiful experience. To reach Onferno is not easy, you have to take the path that leads to the cemetery of Pian di Castello, up there there are cultivated lands and the path seems to vanish, but there are reference points: weather vanes, a small cell of the Madonna, a gate. If you have found everything, come down you are on the right road.

Dating back to the Malatesta era and still well preserved today, the village of San Clemente is one of the best destinations in the Romagna hinterland. The walls and bastions are clearly visible, enclosing the center of the village as they once did. Not far away is also Castelleale, commissioned in 1388 by Leale Malatesta, bishop of Rimini.
