The Hammer Bakker is a huge hilly area consisting of many large heathland areas. Hammer Bakker is still home to a population of the endangered brown-spotted butterfly and many other animals.

Just east of Aalborg, the Lindholm Fjordpark is a really great spot for a recharging break. Nature is lush here, with plants, animals, forests, poplar hedges, herbs and bushes. It can also be experienced by canoe or kayak.

A very picturesque farmhouse in the middle of the Hammer Bakker forest. The surrounding grounds are also peaceful and beautiful, so it's worth stopping to enjoy the scene.
