The municipal forest in Dudenhofen is a real highlight for nature lovers. It offers numerous hiking and cycling trails that lead through the idyllic landscape. The forest is not only a place to relax, but also an important habitat for many animal and plant species. There is a dune path with a great insight into the world of the inland dunes. The nature trail is particularly popular and offers interesting information about the local flora and fauna. There are also some lovely picnic areas where you can take a break and enjoy nature.

The Palatia cycle path (R58) is a popular cycle tour from Speyer to Neustadt an der Weinstraße. The route is about 27 km long and quite easy to ride. It leads through beautiful landscapes, such as the Dudenhofen city forest and along the Speyerbach. Most of the pictures are from the R58

The Woogbach is a stream in Rhineland-Palatinate that branches off from the Speyerbach at the “Hanhofer Gescheid”. It flows for about 9 km through Hanhofen and Dudenhofen and then flows back into the Speyerbach in Speyer.
