Beautiful, large swimming area. Spacious and well-designed. You can surf and boat on the adjacent lake. A paradise for anglers.

You can even take a short circular walk through the moor from the footbridge at the end/beginning. This puts you in the middle of it, rather than just being there. There are steps leading up from the footbridge. Easy to miss. See pictures.

A wooden plank path leads you safely across the damp moor. You have great views of the enchanted landscape.

The Northern Federseeried nature reserve includes a section of slope that is often found in the Swabian Alb. The marl landslide slopes, the rock formations and the forests form a habitat worth protecting for rare plants and animals.
