The Port of Flensburg forms the maritime heart of the city of Flensburg and is located at the end of the Flensburg Fjord. It can be divided into the west side, the east side, and the harbor tip, and boasts impressive historical, industrial, and tourist attractions. Meierwik is a small bay on the Flensburg Fjord in the city of Glücksburg, characterized by its tranquil shoreline and natural setting. For centuries, the fjord has been shaped by passenger and freight traffic – historic steamers connected Flensburg with towns on both sides. Today, leisure boating, excursion boats, traditional yachts and marine activities dominate in Mürwik.
