Photographer Maaria Marja Melin's lovely art garden and home gallery in Jokilaakso, Nuuksio, is open all summer on SUNDAYS from 2 pm to 7 pm and by appointment.

The Luukaa Nature trail visits several lakes on its 8-kilometre loop. Mustalampi is found in the north-east part of the loop, an area that enjoys extensive old-growth forests.

This gorgeous little lake in the Luukki outdoor recreation area is visited on the Luukaa Nature Trail. It's a fine place for a refreshing, post-run swim.

From this parking lot you can follow various walking routes. We followed the yellow route of approximately 8 km. This route is not accessible for wheelchairs or strollers and also not for people with walking difficulties. At various places in the park you can barbecue at designated places. Also bring your own drinks! A great recommendation to go walking or cycling here.

If you start walking eastward from the hiking car park, you will reach a small stream after just a few steps. This gentle stream will accompany you for the next few meters, making for a lovely start to your hike in Nuuksio National Park.

Two big parking places provide car parks for many cars at the end of the public accessible Haukalammentie. Information boards provide valuable information and maps of the area. Recycling bins for garbage, glass, metal help to secure a clean national park.

The cafe seems to offer soup on saturdays and on sundays something more beefier like mash and meatballs or like a pasta. Really good after a hike. It’s open on sat and sun 11-17 (11am to 5pm)
