The astronomical clock plays twice a day (12 p.m. and 3 p.m.). About 10 minutes beforehand, the priest explains a few things about the clock (in both English and Swedish), and of course arriving early ensures good (seating) places.

Great spot for a coffee break. You can also buy the most important staple foods here. Comfortable seats inside and beautiful sunbathing spots outside. Closes at 4pm on weekends.

There are two shelter-huts not visible from the gravel road, each ones entry directed in opposite directions (north or south), which might be helpful depending on the wind conditions when there is bad weather. The toilet facility is located south of the shelters, where the path leads back to the gravel road. The bird-watch hut is located in the north west. If you arrive in the dark this might be useful.

The church in Blentarp was built of fieldstone in the second half of the 12th century. In the 13th century, two portals with stepped gables were added to the nave in the south.
