Schertelshöhle는 슈바벤 알프스에서 가장 아름답고 종유석이 풍부한 동굴 중 하나입니다. 인공 통로를 통해 212m 길이의 동굴 약 160m를 탐험할 수 있습니다. 과거에는 "Kuhloch"라고 불리는 입구 깔때기가 유일한 접근 지점이었으며, 이곳을 통해 햇빛이 신비롭게 동굴 안으로 비춰 들어왔습니다. 도적들이 동굴을 은신처로 사용했다고 전해집니다. 박쥐 보호를 위해 Schertelshöhle는 겨울철에 폐쇄됩니다.

A must for all “cave lovers” and those who appreciate the story of Rulamann (David Friedrich Weinland/ 1878) - this is how he and his troop probably “lived”. Great rest at any time of the year from the heat or rain, our ancestors probably sought refuge here in ancient times 😊👍

Went to the cave at 10am on Sunday and had a "private tour" because no one was there yet! More people were already there for the next tour.

The Stone House is a very impressive karst cave with a large rock hall.

The caves can be visited on Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Definitely a nice rest stop.
