The beech forest is undoubtedly a feast for the eyes, but the uphill and downhill sections of the route we rode can be quite strenuous at times. Especially when the battery on a pedelec runs out of power or when riding simple rental bikes.

The path we were riding on was well-maintained, and the beech forest was beautiful. The route itself was quite challenging, as it was constantly uphill and downhill. And that's quite strenuous on bikes without support.

A magnificent sight year-round and a wonderful natural spot to breathe, pause, and be happy. The dense carpet of foliage always lies at the trees' feet. Whether with or without foliage, the beech trees always make a statement. In winter, the focus is on their silvery bark, and the autumnal coloring of the "Indian Summer" is also a highlight.

Bikes that are easily suitable for off-road use are an advantage. I wouldn't want to ride a "Dutch bike" there.

This view is free, unlike the overpriced Skywalk (12€) and totally overcrowded. For pedestrians only, just leave your bike at the top of the parking lot and enjoy a short walk through the forest
