The church in Nimtofte is located in the middle of the village. It was built in the 12th century from granite squares and rough fieldstones. The parish barn was built in 1599 and is the oldest preserved parish barn in the country. In the barn you can find a small agricultural museum.

You are not allowed into the inner courtyard of the actual castle as it is privately owned. However, you can take a lovely stroll around the park and get great views of the castle and the moat from there!
