We can see the remains of a very ancient profession from a bygone era, right in the field below Kis-Pápavár. It is marked by a sign. In the small area we can also find a table, a table with benches, and a small iron kiln, which was probably the equipment for burning lime. Going a little further, we reach a beautiful field, from where we can see the village of Bakonybél.

The inscription "Bakonybél 1000" is clearly visible from the village of Bakonybél or from the opposite hillsides, which refers to the 1000-year history of the settlement. There is no separate sign indicating it, but you can reach it by following a path on Köves Hill, 100 m further from the Erzsébet Lookout. It is made of stones and cannot be read from close up. The view is great, though!

In Balatonhenye, on Kossuth Lajos Street, we find this completely redesigned Pub, which "uses" the atmosphere of the area very well. It has a pleasant, cozy interior and a shady outdoor area. Its annex is brand new. In front of the pub there is an e-bike charging station, a bicycle repair station, and a drinking fountain. An excellent bike stop! I can only recommend it!

Road section not passable by bike "red+" Due to the series of fallen trees and the unpaved path, we can lift our bikes more than we can ride them. It is more advisable to go "uphill" from the cave rather than on the downhill section!

Near Németbánya, on Hajszabarna Hill, we can reach it by bike on an adventurous route. Unfortunately, it is closed (due to the bats' swarming). Its total length is 35m, and it has rooms that are up to 10m high inside. There are also 4 smaller caves in the area that can be visited. It is important that if you are on a bike, DO NOT head south back towards Pápavár, because the "red +" sign is almost impassable due to the fallen trees.

It is one of the most popular hiking trails in the Bakony, but anyone who wants to do a via ferrata will also reach their destination here. Stream, tourist rest areas, spring, nearby restaurant, in short, everything is here. Oh, and one of the most beautiful railway routes in the country.
