8월 2, 2025, Coll d'Ordino
Easier to climb and more beautiful in terms of views from Canillo. Although it's more pleasant to ride through the trees starting from Ordino.

Very steep. Only the last few kilometers level off somewhat. Poor views of the pass. However, many professional cyclists can be spotted along the way.

The little church of Sant Cristòfol overlooks the Serra del Honor, which recalls the army of Charlemagne who, almost overwhelmed by the Arabs, fought until an unexpected victory, harangued by the king.

For me, Encamp is my favourite training pass. It is demanding at first but then it becomes more bearable.

8월 28, 2024, Aubinyà Mountain Village
Aubinyà is a village with ancient origins, probably dating back to before the medieval period. Its name appears in historical documents, suggesting that it has been an important settlement throughout the centuries. During the Middle Ages, like many other towns in the Pyrenees, Aubinyà was under the influence of feudal lords and the church. In Aubinyà there are legends about hidden treasures. It is said that in times of war and conflict, the inhabitants hid their most precious possessions in the nearby mountains to protect them from invaders.

8월 28, 2024, Ruta del Ferro – La Massana
This is an easy and accessible stretch that highlights the industrial heritage of the region. This section essentially follows old mining roads used to transport iron. As it passes through La Massana, the route offers views of mountainous landscapes and crosses green areas, rivers and bridges. In addition, in this part of the route, visitors can appreciate outdoor sculptures that are part of the Art and Nature Itinerary, highlighting the connection between mining history and the natural beauty of Andorra.

8월 28, 2024, Camí Ral del Valira del Nord
Traveling along the valley of the Valira del Nord river, also known as the Valira del Nord or Valira del Nord, which crosses the parish of Ordino and reaches the parish of La Massana. This route, known as "Camí Ral," is part of a network of ancient paths that connected the towns and valleys of Andorra before the construction of modern roads.

8월 28, 2024, Camí Ral del Valira del Nord
Like many other routes in Andorra, the Camí Ral was used by shepherds to guide their livestock between valleys during the different seasons of the year. These paths were essential to rural life and the economy based on agriculture and livestock farming. During times of war and conflict, such as the Spanish Civil War and World War II, the Camí Ral, like other mountain paths in Andorra, was used by smugglers and people fleeing across the mountains to avoid border control.

8월 28, 2024, Camí de les Pardines
The path is passable for most of the year, although spring and autumn are the best times to enjoy nature in all its splendour. In winter, some parts may be snowy or frozen, but the trail remains accessible. The route connects with Engolasters Lake, which has been a point of interest both for its natural beauty and for its importance in regulating water in the area. The lake is also associated with hydroelectric production, being part of the system that supplies energy to Andorra.

The road markings are really cool to see, though it’s not clear from the route we followed that they are on the descent to Anyós so we made it more of a loop back to Andorra La Vella rather than an out and back from encamp. It was an amazing descent!!

2월 11, 2024, Coll de la Peguera
The Coll de Peguera is also known as Coll de la Rabassa. In fact, on the official Andorra tourism website, the name "Alt de la Rabassa" is used. And on many altimetry websites, it is also known as "Alt de la Rabassa". The two slopes are quite similar in length and hardness, differing only slightly in the steep descent of the northernmost slope that passes through Aixirivall. When you reach the top of the mountain pass, you can take a road that goes higher towards the Naturlandia mountain activities park, which is highly recommended by the way. Another curiosity is that from Naturlandia, you continue going up an unpaved road to the border with Spain, where the views are wonderful. I leave you the link to access the altimetries of @cyclingcols (the best) --> http://www.cyclingcols.com/col/Rabassa

The gravel path seems to disappear to emerge on the other side of the valley, through a short stretch of tunnel curving towards the mountainside.

One of the most well-known passes in Andorra is Port de la Rabassa and this is the first big slope before reaching the top. Despite not being at the top of the mountain, the port and the road itself offer very good views in the middle of pine forests.
