A nice climb although the quality of the tarmac is quite poor. Stunning views. Monastery is men only and you need to be properly dressed in case you wish to enter. So no cycling shorts. No shop to replenish nor coffee.

What makes this place so special is that the old buildings and construction methods are gradually being rebuilt with a lot of money. So you see a traditional Cypriot village, the likes of which there are perhaps only a handful left in Cyprus. The tavern offers classic food.
