The castle was built in the 13th century and redesigned several times. Today, it sits picturesquely on the edge of the forest and feels almost like an enchanted place from another era. Although the castle is currently closed to the public, the view alone is worth the trip: surrounded by trees, with its striking tower, it invites you to linger for a while.

Nicolas Frantz was a Luxembourgish cyclist. He won the Tour de France in 1927 and 1928. Along with François Faber, Charly Gaul and the brothers Fränk and Andy Schleck, he is one of the most successful cyclists in his home country (Wikipedia). The cycle path named after him is very easy to ride.

Fantastic cycle path. Nice restaurant with a large terrace. You want to stay longer in the park and enjoy everything. From here along the Alzette to Luxembourg City. In Lux-Grund you can take a lift up to the upper town. I do this route at least once or twice a year
