A lovely section of the mountain bike trail. Chamois encounters are almost guaranteed. Before descending to Les Charbonnières, there's a slight variation to the right, passing through an old ski jump.

The Creux du Van is approximately 1,200 meters wide and 500 meters deep. The total length of the rock faces, which drop approximately 160 meters vertically, is approximately four kilometers. The area is located near Mont Soliat at 1,200 to 1,450 meters above sea level. Wide road from Vallorbe, lots of traffic, the first km is pretty steep. Juraparc near the col, with some goats and cute alpacas next to the road! An easier alternative to the Mollendruz to get into the Vallée de Joux.
