Herrsching has a wonderful promenade along the lake. There's a great beer garden right on the water at the steamer pier. Just be careful with the beer, otherwise the bike ride home will be tough.

I particularly like this stretch along the Würm. The path close to the water always offers a great view of the windings and the rich flora.

Between the Forsthaus Kasten and Buchendorf, this smooth asphalt road is perfect for a little race. But keep your eyes open, because there are also recreational cyclists on the Starnberg - Munich cycle path and public transport also uses the road.
