The view of Mölln from the Elbe-Lübeck Canal isn't particularly impressive, as the canal doesn't run directly through Mölln's town center. Nevertheless, it's a nice place to take a short break at the lake's edge and enjoy the view of the lake and the towers of Mölln's old town in the background.

Even though the ground is loose, you can still ride well. There are always little rest stops along the canal – a good thing, especially at 38°C.

The path along the canal is easy to navigate, although some of the gravel is also manageable. It gives you a good jolt. Most importantly, you can observe and see many birds.

This is the only ferry across the Elbe-Lübeck Canal. It connects the communities of Siebeneichen and Fitzen. Even if you don't actually have to cross to the other side, the crossing is worth it for the experience alone. Especially since the ferry is free, but a donation is requested. A view of the Elbe Lübeck Canal and a bike ride along the canal is worthwhile in my opinion. You won't be disappointed.😊😊👍👍

There is a bathing jetty here, where you can definitely cool off in the summer. In autumn weather you should go very slowly on it, as the wood is very slippery.

The canal bridge offers a great view towards Mölln and Witzeeze. In Büchen village, the Prieserkate and the old church are worth seeing. On Sundays, coffee and cake are offered in the Prieserkate on certain dates.

Especially now in summer, someone always comes along and provides some variety. The path along the canal is easy to cycle or walk. The many bridges mean that tours can be lengthened or shortened individually.
