The Fuchs-Steig is a path that was named in honor of the forester Fuchs. A path made of perforated concrete slabs leads you past a covered seating area from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the heath. When the heather is in bloom, it is simply a wonderful place to linger for a while.

At Hagenstraße 48 you will find one of the few synagogues that have been preserved in Mecklenburg. Inaugurated by the Jewish community in 1828, over the decades it had become in dire need of renovation. In 2005, the city of Hagenow began to renovate the synagogue ensemble.
