The oldest part of the church is the choir with two simple vaults and window arches in the transition from Romanesque to Gothic style. A special eye-catcher is the mostly closed altar shrine with figures from the pre-Reformation period. The church is used especially in the summer months for summer church as well as for the high feasts of the year.   In 2023, work will be carried out to renovate the interior of the nave. The measures are supported by the Mecklenburg church district, the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Strategy Fund), the German Foundation for Monument Protection, the Marlies Kressner Foundation and the Village Churches in Need M-V e.V. association.   Notes: The church can be visited.
