The Roder Bruch nature reserve is intended to preserve the various habitats such as forests, bushes, wetlands and moors. They serve as a home for rare plant and animal species. Remember that you are on a forest nature trail and a section of the Way of St. James. So watch out for walkers and hikers.

The original dimensions of the sand hill, which was around four meters high and around 30 meters in diameter, are now illustrated using a steel reconstruction of the chariot grave. The idea for the reconstruction and the designs came from Weilerbach local historian Kurt Schäfer. It is an open steel structure whose silhouette captures the radius of the original wagon grave. A three-meter-high steel cable is stretched from the outer edge of the structure to the center of the circle. The interior of the burial chamber is shown in a stylized manner and is illustrated using binoculars, which show a three-dimensional representation of the burial chamber. There is also a warrior figure and a stele set up.
