Beautiful natural recreation area. Ideal for hiking or cycling. You can combine both lakes (Vogelwoog and Blechhammerweiher) for a long hike. Refreshments are available at Kaffe Vogelwoog, Marinekameradschaft Kaiserslautern.

On August 28, 1988, over 70 people were killed at the air show in Ramstein when the planes of the Italian flight squadron collided and crashed into the crowd. This beautiful stone with names was erected in memory of the deceased.
