A beautiful viewing platform offers a fantastic view of the sea and the island of Neuwerk. There's also a telescope at the top, but you'll need a coin to use it. At the bottom of the viewing platform is one of the stamp boxes for the North Sea Travel Passport.

Great view to the island of Neuwerk. Great to drive on the dike.

Beautiful path for hiking or cycling, but unfortunately some tourists are lacking in consideration. They ride in two or three rows abreast or hikers who suddenly change direction from left to right without looking. I find the racing cyclists and gravel bikers with "brain contusions" particularly bad. No sign of consideration! Just show a little consideration and life will be easy for everyone and everyone will have a nice and relaxed stay in and around Cuxhaven.
