The "Mangold" cafe in Weiler is recommended. It's closed on Tuesdays, though. Then there's the Wucherer bakery. It has a small snack bar attached, with pleasant indoor and outdoor seating.

Lindau is a town on Lake Constance in the German state of Bavaria. It is known for its old town island. The harbor features the statue of the Bavarian Lion and the stone Lindau Lighthouse, which overlook the lake and the mountains. On the harbor promenade stands the 12th-century Mangturm, a former watchtower with a pointed tiled roof. Near the restaurant-lined Maximilianstraße, stands the Gothic Old Town Hall with its painted facade.

Coming from Neppen, you drive fairly flat past the marshland towards Hengelesweiher. The lush green of the marshland is a true feast for the eyes. Only shortly before the pond does the road climb slightly, offering a beautiful view of the water.
