This section of the Elbe-Lübeck Canal leads west from Lübeck to Berkenthin. It is part of the Old Salt Road, which was once an important trade route between Lüneburg and Lübeck. The path is consistently flat and easily navigable by bicycle. Along the way, you'll pass several bridges and locks. The König's Canal Inn in Kronsforde, located on the canal, is a perfect spot for a short break.
