Ore Canal - Großvoigtsberg Boat Lift. Information: The Großvoigtsberg Boat Lift (sometimes also called the Christbescherung Boat Lift) was built to overcome the difference in elevation between a weir on the Mulde River and the Christbescherung Mining Canal. It was constructed in 1791.

Today, it serves the purpose of distributing raw water for industrial water supply and fish farming. This bridge is closed to pedestrians and cyclists (as of January 25, 2025) and there is no longer any possibility to walk over it and of course it is not stated anywhere how long or why this bridge is closed but obviously it is said to be dilapidated in other words all walks that include this bridge are invalid until further notice

Old Fathers Bridge. The bridge is only passable by car one at a time. Information: The bridge was built between 1686 and 1715 next to the existing road bridge. The 188.5-meter-long aqueduct consisted of twelve stone arches with spans of 10 to 14 meters and a maximum height of 24 meters. Severe structural damage to the rubble masonry finally necessitated the demolition of the upper part of the bridge in 1893. Today, the lower part of the Old Fathers Bridge is still usable as a road bridge.
