After Sörmtitz the cycle path goes steeply uphill, then nice and flat along the hollow. At the wall of the railway line there is a narrow section and shortly after that there is no asphalt. But they have probably done something there, it is easy to cycle along the hollow and then you have a view of the Ebersbach manor.

Since reunification, many old railway lines have been converted into asphalted cycle paths. Nothing better could have happened to us cyclists. Beautiful scenery, no major inclines and fast travel.

I cycled this cycle path from Grimma to Paschwitz and it was simply beautiful. There is also a new rest area with a view over the Mulde and out into the countryside.
