A beautiful valley with numerous idyllic ponds inhabited by water lilies and frogs... surrounded by a pretty heath... but always quite busy too.

A beautiful rest area with a magnificent view over the idyllic lakes in the Büsenbach valley and its pretty heathland... a dream, especially during the heather bloom.

From the "Pferdekopf" you have the best view of the heathlands in the Büsenbachtal.

Ideal place for a rest by the water

The Büsenbach Valley, with its winding Büsenbach stream, the fairy ponds, the Pferdekopf (horse's head), and, of course, the beautiful heath fields, is worth a visit at any time of year. And when it rains, you can simply head to the sheepfold.

Picture-perfect heathlands...during flowering. Afterward, everything turns brown again. Its charm is also evident in winter.

From the Este River to the B3, the road is barely passable. It's better to use the bridges in Langeloh!

Some of the paths are very sandy and difficult to navigate, but the views over the heathland are very rewarding. It's definitely worth pushing your bike.
