For thousands of years, water and wind subsequently shaped the relief of our landscape. Where water flowed in large quantities, it left deep cuts in the terrain. This is how the Büsenbach Valley was formed.

The small Büsenbach flows through the valley, and heather-covered hills rise to the right and left. Gnarled junipers contrast with the flowering heaths. There are more and larger heaths: Wilsede; Röders Heide; Behringer Heide; Totengrund, Osterheide and many heaths Due to roots and other obstacles, the paths are more suitable for experienced cyclists. Be careful not to ride to the right of the Pferdekopf - that is prohibited! **Tip**: For a carefree experience, we recommend exploring the beauty of nature on foot. .

A very beautiful place, always. I love coming here. At the beginning of May you can hear lots of frogs croaking in the numerous small ponds. You go up to the Pferdekopf, from where you have a great view of the area.
