The half-timbered church from 1539/40 on the extensive grounds of the former Schinna monastery is a unique gem of sacred architecture. When I stood in front of it on this wonderfully sunny Saturday and walked around it, I was very lucky: the door was open and I could take a look inside the church. 🍀 A magical moment!🌟🍀‼️

On the Weser Cycle Path, directly above the Weser bank and with a view over to the old Landesbergen ferry house, there is now this modern rest area with a shelter and bicycle racks. There are no trees here to provide shade yet, but at least there is a ray of hope for cyclists!👍😊🚴♀️🚴

Stolzenau is a beautiful place, even though it does not have town rights. The municipality of Stolzenau is part of and the official seat of the Mittelweser collective municipality (a merger of Stolzenau and the previous collective municipality of Landesbergen).
