Lautertal을 통과하는 아름다운 길이라는 것을 확인할 수 있습니다. 자전거로든 하이킹으로든 그렇습니다. 경로를 따라 많은 성터가 보입니다. 하이커는 이 성터로 잠시 빠져나가 길에서 약간 벗어나 더 높은 곳에서 계곡을 볼 수도 있습니다.

Juniper heaths are one of the most typical landscape features of the Swabian Alb. They originated from centuries of sheep grazing, which prevented the areas from reverting to forest. Many rare plants and herbs grow among the juniper bushes on the calcareous soils.

When I created this highlight in September 2020, it was already clear that the Lauter Valley would be busy on the weekends. It's simply a beautiful valley and a wonderful place to cycle. The fantastic Alb vegetation and the Lauter River are a truly special experience. You're never alone here! Not even during the week – there are people commuting to work in the mornings, too. It's best between Monday and Wednesday. We were here on a Saturday, and obviously, a lot of people were busy, as there weren't many cyclists and other road users on the road. If you're looking for solitude, you should cycle to a valley without a federal highway.

A fantastic route in beautiful natural surroundings, well-frequented on weekends when the weather is good, and a great cycling route that's easily accessible on both gravel and mountain bikes. Lautertal is a special highlight in any season.
