Quiet country road L43 between Günthersdorf and Friedland. Asphalt damaged and bumpy.

A fantastic bike path and definitely a highlight. The route via Leeskow to Groß Mackrow is only partially worthwhile (on a racing bike) due to the terrain there. It's better to take the Heideradweg to Weichensdorf and from there to Oelsen. It's worth it.

Brandenburg's only hand-operated cable ferry. With a nice pub where you can stop and linger. It connects a wonderful route from Oelsen to Friedland and Leißnitz. Opening Hours: April | May | September | October Tuesday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM June | July | October August Tuesday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays: 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Closed on Mondays Prices: Single adult with bike: €2.00 Single adult without bike: €1.10 Students aged 6-16 & students with bike: €1.10 Students aged 6-16 & students without bike: €0.50 Child trailer: €0.50 Payment for the ferry at the snack bar on the Leissnitz side. No card payments accepted.
