Well-maintained moated castle in the Weser Renaissance style, with a neo-Gothic extension. The castle and gardens are owned by the von Rössing family. The castle is inhabited, so no access, but there are good views of the park and castle on the north, west and east sides.

Built in 1637, it used to be a Leine Castle. Each owner used it differently: as a residential building, monastery, library, also as barracks. Now the state parliament is meeting here.
