Great rest stop on the bike path for several people. A little tip: very close by, at the Enders fruit farm, there are vending machines selling regional products; one of them has delicious ice cream (about 200 meters towards Albisheim).

The Worm Gate was built from 1770 to 1772. "Under Elector Carl Theodor, Frankenthal experienced a period of prosperity that lasted until the French Revolution. The Elector renewed the city fortifications by expanding the circular wall and erecting new, magnificent gates resembling triumphal arches. [...] The northern gable displays Carl Theodor's coat of arms. On the south side [toward the pedestrian zone], allegorical depictions of War and Peace can be seen. A very pretty, well-paved path that takes you through green surroundings almost to the city center.

The Old Town Hall is located in the center of Pfeddersheim. It was built between 1760 and 1770 and originally served as the Orb family's castle. Since the 19th century, the building has housed the town hall and administrative offices. The police are also currently located here. Above the entrance is the Pfeddersheim coat of arms, which identifies the town as a former Free Imperial City.

The meat dishes here are truly delicious. The chef struggles a bit with salads and vegetarian dishes.
