Always along the creek, almost flat. In winter there was water everywhere, many small tributaries to the stream. Our hiking boots put up with a lot!

From the end of the town of Villigst to the rather unspectacular spring it is about 6 kilometers along the river. The path leads through the elongated valley. It is a good road, some of which runs near the creek and some further away. In at least three places, there are alternatively short paths directly on the stream. From a crossroads, the actual valley becomes somewhat pathless. The only options here are the cross-country route or the detour via Reingsen or east in the direction of the old post road (drive on).

Village and factory - nature and industry. Apparent opposites come together in Barendorf, the industrial-cultural monument in the north of Iserlohn. Where brass was cast and wire was drawn in the 19th century, there is now an artist and museum village with numerous cultural events that change with the seasons, gastronomy and an ambience registry office.

A particularly nice place to take a break ... even with seating and a view of the distance.

Here the hiker encounters the most impressive area around the tower. A large square with a view of Hagen. There is also a small kiosk with cool paintings.

A historic factory complex worth seeing consists of 10 buildings from the 19th century. The factory complex and the entire environment is in a local recreation area, several cycle paths meet here. There is also a Cafe Barendorf. The historic Maste-Barendorf factory has been a listed building since the 1980s. So who follows my bike tour!!! definitely make a longer stopover here, there is a lot to see and discover. Have fun exploring.
