Actually, it's not a highlight but rather a low point 😒 when I think about all the human suffering that took place here! It really gave me goosebumps. Even if this border is no longer visible, I hope that the borders in many people's minds will disappear and that we will manage to live peacefully with one another.

If you continue driving from Dassow in the direction of Lübeck, information boards provide information about the former inner-German border. You also have a beautiful view over the Dassower See. Some parts of the border security can still be seen. A museum once again informs about the time of division. A small café right next to the old warehouse invites you to take a break.
