Wooden hut in the Weingartener Moor nature reserve with a protected view of the wildlife, which can be reached via a boardwalk at your own risk. Especially after rainfall, a certain amount of caution is necessary when walking over the wooden planks, as there are no railings.

Lake Erlach is currently the last refuge for amphibians in the Oberwald. The previously declining amphibian population was counteracted by the targeted design of the water body. Here they find a habitat that the floodplain landscape of the Rhine had offered them since time immemorial, before human cultivation destroyed it.

From here, you can easily observe birds without disturbing them. Beautiful view over the lake.

Here at the Naturfreundehaus there is not only a place to stop for refreshments on Sundays, but also a very nice children's playground.
