The cross that moved so many people has now been restored. During construction work on the A49 motorway, the cross was dismantled and stored several years ago. For 120 years, it stood where a stormwater retention basin has now been built. Restored and partially renovated, it has now been re-erected at this location. A few benches will soon be installed on the site where the historic wayside cross stands. Bushes and trees will also be planted. Good contact point in case of a breakdown

@Marco, @KHS, I know what the highlight meant; it's in the wrong place. If you correct the position, all the pictures no longer fit. It doesn't help to post pictures of the trail here either; they only confuse people more. It would be better to rename it, for example, to 'Lumda Cycle Path,' and that would solve the problem. The trail already has a highlight, but unfortunately, it's marked as a location, not as a section.

@Horst, as Marco wrote, coming from Lollar, don't cross the small wooden bridge, but just continue straight along the Lumda. The path is pretty overgrown by now.
