Hiking on Thassos is always a pleasure, there is a lot to discover

At about 1000 meters, immediately before the last summit ascent, there is a shelter and several sheltered rest areas.

Great all-round view, definitely recommended.

The way to the top is beautiful and well marked throughout! If you don't do this hike, you've missed something :)

Certainly a nice place to watch the stars here on a summer night

If you want to have a nice panoramic view of the whole island, you should definitely go to the Ypsarion. Fantastic paths and impressive rock formations make this hike an absolute highlight. After the hike, you can fill your stomach and enjoy a cold drink in the town of Thasou. We ate it at To Tavernaki taverna and were not disappointed. The moussaka was to die for!

Highest point on the island, great views in all directions ... if the clouds are not too low 👍
