The village beach is wonderful for swimming. It lies in a naturally preserved bay with the eternally blue sea and crystal-clear water. Sun umbrellas and loungers are available free of charge. Nude bathing and camping are not permitted.

There are about 12 restaurants serving authentic Greek cuisine, where you're welcome to choose your food directly from the cooking pot. At night, you can enjoy cocktails in the bars under an indescribably beautiful starry sky.

The old port town lies in a small bay at the foot of the Asterousia Mountains. Due to its secluded location, Lentas is a very quiet place, free from traffic, and is particularly popular with independent travelers, backpackers, and families. There are no large hotel complexes in the village; accommodation is in small, private apartments.

The small beach is actually great for swimming, but in May 2024 it was full of Posidonia.
