Kritsa Gorge and Ancient Minoan Path is a nice short loop tour. Good footwear recommended. Be sure to park at the entrance to Krista and walk to the gorge. Various markings irritate. Listen to the navigation and pay attention to the map.

Parking is best at the parking lot at the entrance to Kritsa. The parking lot is signposted. Sturdy shoes make sense as you hike in the river stone rubble. The water hole was dried up, we could just walk through it, if there is water in it it won't be deep, maybe 30 cm. That covered the gorge, we went back the Minoan path. The path is good but not very spectacular. There are many markings on the way, you can easily take a wrong turn because you cannot see which markings lead where. So pay attention to the navigation and not to the marking.

The way back is highly recommended after the tour in the Kritsa Gorge.
