The opening of the station on May 15, 1880, marked the inauguration of the Landshut-Plattling railway line. The Neumarkt-Sankt Veit-Landshut railway line followed on October 4, 1883. Picturesque, very beautiful building ensembles on both sides of the Isar River in the middle of Landshut, highly recommended.

It is believed that a pagan temple was located on the site of the church in pre-Christian times.

The relatively new bridge is not actually spectacular, but the view of the old town while crossing is fantastic

The bridge, named after the adjacent Church of the Holy Spirit, was built in 1927/28 and renovated in 1984/85. It traverses the Große Isar River in a central location, connecting the old town with the Mill Island. From the bridge, you have a wonderful view across the river to the facades of the houses on the Mill Island.

In addition to the hotel, there is also a restaurant with a garden. Events are held regularly (e.g., garden days, medieval festivals). The castle is also popular for weddings and family celebrations.
