A little away from the Lange Bahn at a fork in the road you come to the "Oberer Bahnskopf". From here you can continue towards Forsthütte or up to the Lange Bahn Eisenbahnde.

The Oberer Bahnkopf can be found in the Suhl city forest between Dorntalskopf and Ehrenberg. A small fork in the road not far from the Lange Bahn.

A signpost stands for the 490 m high Keferstein. Here begins a new development area of Suhl.
