Extensive renovation in 2015 exposed the timber framing. According to historical architectural research, it is more of a community center than a town hall: It lacks several features of a complete town hall, such as a registry office. Actually, there were only three rooms: a formerly open, two-aisled lower level (“market hall”), a bower on the upper floor, open on two sides and closed to the north, which accommodates the stairs from the ground floor and a spacious vestibule, and the hall (used as a dance hall/bar?) occupying two-thirds of the upper floor.
